Ready for santa coming

Ready for santa coming

Stressful day today went to the printers, the present for my niece (a 12×10 print of a horse with a frame….had my name chopped off halfway through my surname. Ended up going and buying another frame and making a border and signing the border… it actually ended up looking better than the original frame. (lesson for today never get your name printed on your photographs unless you really perfect it. Have slowly been getting used to using photoshop (so much more to learn) plus for the last 3 prints I ordered the wrong size 7×5 instead of 8×6. (got the calenders mixed up….did some at 7×5 and 2 others as 8×6). I just ended up using them. One was ok as it was for the front cover, but one for my brother 2 of the months have smaller prints. Another salsa Congress this time in Malta

November was a fantastic month for me apart from being my birthday I went to Malta for the first time and to stay in a 5* hotel, It was also the first time I have went to an international salsa congress. Not only was there over 2000 dancers from all walks of life, I had the chance to use my camera to get some shots of this beautiful Island.

My view over looking my balcony – each room had their own balcony

found the time to go for a stroll with the camera round my neck – thank goodness its a light model.

Love the colours in the rock formation on the edge of the beach

Really thought this little dog was going to jump in, now if it had been my Noah there would be no hesitation. How i did miss him, especially seeing all the other dogs enjoying the beach

Noah 1st Holiday – part 2

Here’s more pics of our time at Angecroft Caravan Park. Apart from a little rain on the Saturday, it stayed fairly dry for the next couple of days. It rained heavily late on the Monday night, we didn’t care though as we were nice and cosy in the the caravan. We woke early in the morning to find it was still raining . After breakfast I decided to brave the rain, I wanted to enjoy our last day at the caravan, and my brother was arriving late afternoon with his 2 kids to stay overnight and drive us back home in the morning.

After a long walk we headed back to the caravan, to dry off. After some lunch I settled down to watch Anne of green gables Continue reading

Noah’s 1st Holiday – Part 1

Well fellow  bloggers I have been promising you this post for a while now, I’ve finally got round to organizing  some of the many photos of our time at a caravan in Ettrick Valley.

We left on the saturday 13th October. The travel plans didn’t quite go to plan. I had originally planned to leave the day before, but as I was working I didn’t relish the thought of travelling late in the day (which was just as well I didn’t).  a good friend was planning a visit back to Edinburgh for that very weekend. So I went out dancing and enjoyed a catch up off her news of her settling into a new area and job. When I rechecked travelling plans that very night I found to my dismay there wouldn’t be a bus that would take us from Selkirk Town to Angecroft caravan park ; as I had originally thought. Apparently it’s only the local school bus they use, and as it was a Saturday there was no other means of transport to getting there. Lets just say I panicked, Continue reading
